Here is a comic, if you like.... It's the only comic on the whole site!!! Every site needs a comic. I did this while being paid to be technical editor. It was a challenging job and this was done during a break. Swear it! Comic
Or you can go to my News section and write some... No news is good news.
As of November 2009, I'm co-founder of Old Shoe, a Chicago based band featuring Matt Robinson on guitar and vox, Dan Huber on bass and Chris Marlow drums. Eponymous album due out December 2009.

Steely Dan Can (Buy a Thrill)--Something Fritz von Valtier and I did over the holidays in 2006. He's an amazing drummer and a great guy! This piece ends up following 1:47 of vinyl noise on track 13 of my latest CD, The Keeley Effect (image above). The solo guitar is a standard Suhr w/ 3 P90s. I wish I'd kept this guitar!!! That's a Fuzz Head that gets kicked on near the end. I played the bass on this track; one of the primary reasons I thought it best to hire The Brothers Groove for the rest of the album. Uh... hmmm... let's see: me on bass or James Simonson???
Breathe--featuring Skeeto Valdez on drums, Chuck Bartels on bass, and Paul Priest on vocals and guitar. These and any other tunes with these two were recorded live in 2006, St. Paddy's Day. Skeeto is a world-class guy and drummer all at once. Chuck is a monster on the bass but as gentle as they come. Great guys, lots of fun doing this gig.
Beware of Darkness--featuring Paul Priest on guitar, vox. George Harrison knocked it out of the park with this one. What a message! (Recorded this at home in 2006.)
The First. Check it out... be patient... it gets, in the words of Dave Legacy, "freaky!!!"... mr. pickhead
The follow-up release to Mr. Pickhead... baby pickhead

Well... I'm from Detroit, but live in Chicago now. Music makes everything better. Music and art say everything.... Helps me remain vigilant, remain vital, to seek all manner of knowledge, and, hopefully, to do the right things...
Tunes to the left were recorded in between present and early 2004 with different players: I've added some content after the tracks. Check back if you'd like to hear more: I'll rotate the tracks.
I'm now in a band called Old Shoe, located in Chicago. Gigs aplenty.
Here's a shout out to pedal makers: first--THEE tone master Robert Keeley, good friend, guru, and maker of an unbelievably incredible and versitile Fuzz Head, and a slew of other very necessary pedals. My tone is a bit on the dark side, but that's how I like it: this is not to say that Keeley's pedals are dark. On the contrary, they satisfy all manner of tastes. I set mine the way that I like them. The workshop elf magic conjured at Keeley Electronics is amazing. Hey y'all!... Trey, Nathan, Jacob, and the rest of the crew... you guys are the best!
Two other lovers of superior harmonics are engineers Tim Larwill and Sean Michael. What a time to be a guitarist!!!
